Posted 74 saves on the season while facing 210 shots... Posted a 1.74 goals against average and a .692 save percentage... Her 1705 minutes lead the team and sits second all-time in consecutive scoreless minutes with 340:57... Posted a 8-8-2 record overall... Posted a 18 game consecutive save streak... 

FRESHMAN (2016)
Appeared in every game for the Eagles and started 14. Compiled 77 saves while totaling 1,371 minutes of playing time with a .748 save percentage. Faced 202 shots during her time in the net.. Made a season high 13 saves against Charlotte [Aug. 28].. Named to 2016-17 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Karinshak was a four-year letterwinner at Wando High School under head coach Shannon Champ … Led the Warriors to the state championship in 2013 and 2014 and also won region crowns in 2013, 2014 and 2015 … Named an All-Region and All-State selection in 2016 and was an all-tournament selection in 2016 at the Clash of the Carolinas … Played club ball for USA/MP Girls 16 Premier I and head coach Kian Brownlee and was a four-year team captain (2013-16) … Led her club team to the 2012 and 2015 state championship crowns … Set a tournament record in her age group at the 2014 Disney Showcase with a shutout … Her team was ranked first in the state and 27^th in the Region 3 rankings for much of her time with the team … Away from soccer, Karinshak was named an Athletic Scholar in 2016 and was a member of the Wando National Technical Honors Society.

Born Lauren Ashleigh Karinshak on April 9, 1998 in Mount Pleasant, S.C. … Daughter of David and Cheri Karinshak; David played soccer at South Carolina … Has two siblings, Chris and Ben … Aunt, Tiffany Tootle, played softball (shortstop) at South Carolina and is in the Gamecocks’ Hall of Fame.
