Quotables from head coach Mark Byington
"ETSU is a good team that is probably going to win 20 games for the fourth straight year. That's why we schedule games against good teams like them – to see our strengths and our weaknesses, learn from them and get better."
"I thought it was a highly-competitive game. It wasn't always the prettiest, but I thought we competed, we battled, and I thought we showed toughness. It's a November game that will come back and help us later on. We missed some shots the last three or four minutes, and they made the shots the last three or four minutes. I thought we did a lot of things right, and the things we didn't do right, I know we can fix."
"We're going to be a work on progress because we're getting guys back, and we have some guys with lingering injuries who aren't practicing as much so I think you saw we were out of rhythm at certain parts of the game. We have to learn what we're like as a whole because we haven't been that way in five or six weeks. We have to learn how to play with each other a little better."
Next up
