Eagles Fall at No. 16 Morehead State

Winter Air Gun up next for squad

SCORECARD

MOREHEAD, Ky. -
Lydia Odlin posted a season-high in air rifle, but it wasn't enough as the Georgia Southern rifle squad fell to No. 16 Morehead State, 4667-4488, Saturday morning at the Button Rifle Range. The Eagles shot with just four participants on the day, limiting their chances for high scores and depth.

Odlin, a redshirt junior, posted a 577 in air rifle, besting her previous high for the season by three points. Freshman Caroline Brakeville posted a career high in air rifle, shooting a 581.

The 2,330 in air rifle tied for the fourth highest team total in program history.

Words From Coach Worman:
"We move on from here. Upward and onward. Morehead has a beautiful range and we thank them for hosting us."
