Quotables
Quan Jackson
"We did just about everything right in the first half. We got steals, got out in transition and got some easy buckets. In the second half, we came out a little sluggish and had to make some adjustments. We'll work on that and get better."
Tookie Brown
"It was a great learning experience for our younger guys and our older guys too. We know what we need to work on, and now we can work hard on getting better every day."
Head coach Mark Byington
"Our guys have been working really hard in the offseason and really hard in the preseason, and this was kind their reward – to get out on the floor and play a really good team. Two good things happened tonight. First, we were able to raise money to donate to the Red Cross for hurricane relief. Second, it was a great learning experience for our guys."
