ROCK HILL, S.C. – Georgia Southern Cross Country placed third in the College of Charleston Classic on Friday afternoon at the Winthrop Lakes Course outside of Charlotte. The meet, originally scheduled for the Low Country, was moved after the biblical downpours left both race courses swamped.
Rebecca Parker again led the Eagles around the 5K course, placing 10th in the individual standings. The Eagles recorded the closest team spread of the nine teams in the race with just 47 seconds between their top five.
