WHAT HEAD COACH KELLY CARTER SAID
"I am so proud of our cross country team. We were picked to finish 10th at the beginning of the year and we finished sixth. We were only five points out of the top five. It's just a testament to the hard work that the young ladies put forth this cross country season. With no seniors on the team, the future looks bright for Georgia Southern Cross Country."

With the conference meet in the books, Georgia Southern now waits for an invitation to the NCAA South Region Cross Country Meet. That meet will be held on Nov. 14 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
