
Distance Crew Shines with PRs and All-Time Marks

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – The distance crew delivered a strong showing at the UNF East Coast Relays, turning in a series of personal bests and all-time marks that highlighted the group's continued progress this season.
Houston transfer Cameron Belcher set the tone early, opening the meet with an impressive personal record in the 1500m. Belcher crossed the line in 4:49.33, establishing a new benchmark and giving the squad early momentum on the track.
In the 5K, freshman Hannah Douglas paced the Eagles with a standout performance, clocking 17:46.42 to maintain her No. 2 spot on the program's all-time list.
Veteran Tristen Crosby followed closely behind, finishing in 17:58.70 to hold steady at No. 4 all-time, reinforcing the team's depth in the distance events.
The underclassmen continued to make their mark as freshman Katie Casto turned in an 18:35.34, moving into ninth on the all-time list.
Fellow freshman Rebecca Stratton also delivered a strong performance, notching a personal best of 18:47.77 to round out a productive day for the group.
With multiple personal records and all-time placements secured, the distance squad proved once again it can compete at a high level.
