
Eagles Stack PRs, Top-Five Marks at Torrin Lawrence Memorial

ATHENS, GA. – The Eagles turned in a well-rounded performance, posting top-five marks, personal bests, and strong finishes across the board at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial hosted by the Georgia Bulldogs.
The 4x100 relay team of Shatalya Dorsett, Myzhane Solomon, Emani George and NaJ Watson highlighted the day on the track, clocking a 45.00 to move into No. 5 on the program's all-time list.
Watson continued her strong showing in the 100m, leading the Eagles with a sixth-place finish in 11.44, while Dorsett followed in 11.62. Freshman Aaliyah Barnes recorded a personal best at 12.01, and George added a 12.08.
In the hurdles, Madison Linscomb led the group in the 100m hurdles with a 14.45, followed by Solomon (14.90) and Makayla Caldwell (15.43). Linscomb also competed in the 400m hurdles, finishing in 1:03.86.
Alanna Smith paced the Eagles in the 400m with a 55.77, while Jayla Lawrence narrowly missed her personal record, crossing in 59.98.
In the 800m, freshman Nia Levy delivered a standout performance, running a personal-best 2:12.79 to claim the No. 6 spot all-time. Zya Gibbs added a 2:20.61 in the same event.
In the field events, Kennedy Hood led the long jump group with a mark of 5.78m, followed by Gamyzhae Williams (5.34m) and Trinity Lavant (5.25m).
The high jump saw strong performances from the underclassmen, as Amara Thomas cleared 1.72m to maintain her No. 2 all-time ranking, while Greta Caprathe's personal-best 1.67m moved her to No. 6 all-time.
The meet concluded with efforts in the triple jump from Alexandria Kennedy (11.88m) and Jailah Lee (10.90m), along with a 3:43.21 finish from the 4x400 relay team of Smith, Lawrence, Dorsett and Watson.
Overall, the Eagles showcased depth and momentum, with multiple athletes making their mark on the program's all-time lists while others continued to chip away at personal bests.
