Women's Tennis Coach Bonner Steps Down

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern women's tennis coach Amy Bonner stepped down from her role as head coach due to personal reasons.
Bonner has served as the head women's tennis coach at her alma mater since 2004. The 2013-14 season marked her 10th at the head of the Eagles' program.
"I would like to thank Amy for her 10 years of service to Georgia Southern. I know that stepping away from her alma mater will be difficult for her, but we wish her the best," Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein said. "We will begin a national search for a new head coach immediately."
GSU was 95-105 in dual match play and 41-63 in the Southern Conference under Bonner.
Bonner played for Georgia Southern from 2000-2003.
