Eagle Softball Holds Successful Golf Tournament

First edition of the tournament draws 10 teams to Metter
METTER, Ga. – Georgia Southern Softball held a successful fundraising golf tournament on Monday afternoon, April 14th, at Metter's Willow Lake Golf Club. A total of 10 teams participated in the tournament to benefit the Georgia Southern Softball team. Members of the Eagle softball team were on hand to thank the golfers for their generous support of the program.
"We had perfect weather on a great golf course today," said Head Coach Annie Smith. "I'd like to thank everyone that helped make this tournament a success. We're looking forward to making this an annual event."
The tournament gave prizes based on overall score (gross), handicap adjusted score (net), as well as closest to the pin prizes on each of the par threes around the course.
