
Women's Tennis Gears Up For Massachusetts

CHARLESTON, S.C.- Georgia Southern women's tennis is set to face University of Massachusetts on Thursday, March 20th, at 11am at LTP Tennis Club. The Eagles enter the match with a 6-8 overall record. The UMass Minutewomen hold a 5-6 overall record.
Last time out, the Eagles earned two SoCon wins in a row, beating both Western Carolina and Appalachian State. Against WCU, the Eagles dominated doubles play, earning wins in all three doubles matches. Jordana Klien, Giulia Riepe, and Mary Phillips Smith all secured doubles wins. Against Appalachian State, the Eagles took all 6 singles matches, heading into doubles 6-0. Doubles play was cut short due to rain, but the Eagles had already clinched the match.
The Minutewomen battled Columbia University their last time out and lost 5-2. They are scheduled to face College of Charleston this afternoon.
