Georgia Southern Fall Shootout
10/25/2026 6:39:00 PM | Women's Tennis
Georgia Southern players notch 12 singles wins over the three days at Wallis
All nine Eagles saw action on the weekend, and Georgia Southern players combined to capture 12 singles wins over the three days. Reese Parker, Amelie Rosadoro, Natalie Crawford and Annik Freund each picked up a pair of wins to finish the weekend 2-1 in singles play.
"I believe this was a really good weekend for the team," Georgia Southern head women's tennis coach Sean McCaffrey said. "We wanted to find a way to take steps forward as a squad, and we did on the overall weekend. Things didn't go how we had hoped on the final day, but it's giving us a lot to focus on. If we make the necessary changes I believe we will be amongst the strongest teams in the Sun Belt. I believe this team will make those adjustments and be ready to be a bit more consistent next week in Rome."
Georgia Southern wraps up the Fall schedule at the UTR Fall College Championship at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga., on Oct. 29-Nov. 4
