Women's Tennis Falls to Kennesaw State

MARRIETTA, Ga.- Georgia Southern women's tennis suffered a heartbreaking loss (3-4) on Saturday, February 22nd to Kennesaw State University. The Eagles now hold a record of 4-3.
In singles competition, Jordana Klein defeated KSU's Virginie Stein (7-6, 6-1). Paola Garrido fell to Alexandra Apostu (6-0, 6-4). Daria Vasekina and Stephanie Woods were also defeated, but Giulia Riepe and Mary Phillips Smith were victorious, earning two more wins for the Eagles.
The Eagles were unable to notch any doubles wins, leading to the Owls snagging the doubles point.
