
Women's Tennis Defeated by Elon 0-7

ELON, N.C.- Georgia Southern women's tennis was defeated by Elon Saturday afternoon, 0-7. The Eagles now hold a 4-4 record. The Elon Phoenix improve their record to 5-4.
In singles play, Jordana Klein fell to Jordan Johnston, 7-5, 6-2. Paola Garrido was defeated by Frida Jansaker, 6-1, 6-2. Daria Vasekina, Stephanie Woods, Giulia Riepe, and Mary Phillips Smith played close matches but were unable to notch victories.
In doubles competition, the Phoenix tallied all three doubles wins, securing the doubles point.
The Eagles hit the courts again Sunday, March 2nd, at 12pm against UNC Greensboro.
