Last Season: The men's tennis team is coming off its first winning season since 2009. The Eagles finished with an 11-9, 6-4 record in 2012-13 en route to an eighth-place finish in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Southeast Regional rankings. Coach Zieziula's squad finished ahead of Georgia Tech and Central Florida, two teams the Eagles will face this year.

2012 Southern Intercollegiates Recap: Albert Codina Sala won two matches in the Division II singles field before falling 6-1, 6-4 to Georgia's Casey Kay. Also playing in Division II, Kyle Hoffman advanced to the round of 16 with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Mercer's Elbert Beekman before falling to Georgia Tech's Nathan Rakitt 6-3, 7-6(7). In the Divison II doubles, Kyle Hoffman and Marco Osorio won their first round match against Chattanooga's duo of Stephen Crofford and Chris Smith 8-3.

Student-Athlete Spotlight: Rayane Djouad
Djouad went 14-3, 9-1 in singles play a year ago and finished the season with seven wins in his last 10 matches. He played in the number 1, 2, 4 and 5 spots for the Eagles. He was also an impressive 8-2 in Tournaments and went 9-6 in doubles play.
