JUNIOR (2012-13): Started 16 matches for the Eagles, splitting time at the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 positions…Primarily spent time at the No. 4…Earned an overall record of 6-8 (3-4 SoCon)…Earned a win against College of Charleston’s Charlie Chriskey in the second round of the SoCon Tourney on April 19…Picked up a crucial singles victory against Elon’s Brian Kowalski, helping the Eagles to a 4-3 victory…Also picked up conference wins against The Citadel’s James Atkinson (March 16) and Wofford’s Graham Duncan (March 2)… Racked up an 8-8 doubles record (4-4 SoCon), teaming up with senior Matthijs Verdam for a 6-5 (3-3 SoCon) record primarily at the No. 1…Clinched the doubles point with Verdam against Furman on March 26 that proved to be crucial for the 4-3 victory…Also clinched the doubles point with Verdam in the Eagles’ conference opener against Wofford on March 2.
AT FLORIDA ATLANTIC: Began his collegiate career at Florida Atlantic by posting an impressive 11-8 record in dual singles play...Primarily played the No. 4 singles position but also saw action at 3, 5, and 6...Recorded his first victory of the season over Jacksonville's Matthew Hansen...Clinched the match win for the team by defeating Central Florida's Leonel Vivas at the three singles position in a third set tiebreaker, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (11-9)...Also posted three-set wins against North Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Troy, Wright State, and UMBC...Recorded straight-set victories over SIUE, Clemson, Bethune-Cookman, and Western Kentucky in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship...Posted four wins in dual doubles play with partner Derek Madon.
