STATESBORO, GA. – The Georgia Southern Men's Basketball team, along with Gus, made a special appearance at the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County to spend time with the youngsters and distribute free tickets for Wednesday's game against Kennesaw State.
"We really like being able to spend time out in the community," said Head Coach
Mark Byington. "We've got a great group of guys and they know how special trips like this are. I think our players had as much, if not more fun as the kids."
Wednesday's game against Kennesaw State features Georgia Southern's first ever Bear Toss with fans invited donate stuffed teddy bears to the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County. With each donation fans can get a ticket for just $5 and will have the opportunity to win a $50 gift card from the University Store. Tipoff for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
