Men's Tennis Gears Up For Elon Fall Invitational- Updated Draws

ELON, N.C.- Georgia Southern men's tennis closes out their fall season with the Elon Invitational this weekend. The Eagles will take to the court against players from Georgia State, USC Upstate, Winthrop, UNC-Asheville, James Madison, UNC-Greensboro, Tennessee State, NC Wesleyan, North Carolina Central, and Elon.
"We are excited to compete this weekend," said Head Coach Nick Zieziula. "This is our last fall event, so the guys are fired up to go out and make the most of it, plus we will be seeing some conference opponents so that really ramps up the intensity too. Our main goal this weekend is just to compete well from the first point to the last, if we do that the results will take care of themselves."
Last time out, the Eagles competed in the ITA Southeast Regional hosted by Georgia Tech. Marco Osorio was able to pull off a big win in the Singles Consolation Draw, defeating Georgia State's Thomas Cook (5-7, 6-2, 6-2).
