Women?s Tennis will be participating in the Landings Club Invitational this Weekend

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's tennis team is slated to participate in the Landings Club Invitational Friday through Sunday in Savannah, Ga. at the Landings Club.

The Lady Eagles are coming off of a solid performance at the ITA Southeast Regional in Athens, Ga. Sophomore Ali Beavers (Kingsport, Tenn.) advanced to the semi-finals before falling to Natalie Mayuk from Mississippi State 6-4, 6-7 (5) 11-9.

“We did really well and were almost in the finals,” said head coach Amy Bonner. “Ali had a great tournament.”

The full squad will be returning to action Friday at the Landings Club Invitational.
