FRESHMAN (2016-17): Played in two matches all season, one singles (UNCG) and one doubles (SSU)… Won her match against Sophia Adams of UNCG 7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 6-4… Playing primarily in the No. 6 position… During doubles, her and her partner Paige Christian defeated their opponents 6-3 for their first victory of the season as partners…Named to 2016-17 Sun Belt Commissioner's List.

PREP: Played four years of varsity tennis for Etowah High School in Woodstock, Georgia … coached by Billy Morgan … Outside of the classroom,  was in the National Honors Society … The 2016 6A State runner-up … Had a high school record of 51-12 … Received coach’s award in 2014 … All-county athlete from 2012-2016 … All-region athlete in 2015 … 2012-2016 scholar athlete … Recipient of 2016 MVP doubles award and 2016 Wendy’s Heisman Award … Played club tennis for Kerri McGee 18U Gold Team and won 2015 Wilson Collegiate Sportsmanship Award … Club awards include 2015 USTA Georgia State Champions, 2015 Savannah Georgia Doubles Champion and 2016 Georgia Clay Court Doubles Champion.

PERSONAL: Born Nicole Pearl Gilner September 11, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia … The daughter of mother Elisa Gilner and step-father Mitch Boehm … Has two older siblings, Emily and Korey … Her mother, Elisa, played D-II tennis … Her uncle, Bryan Freud, played D-III soccer.
