2014 (Junior): Started and played in 53 games ... Hit .242 while scoring 19 runs on the season ... Posted nine doubles and four home runs while slugging .376 ... Earned 16 walks en route to a .314 on base percentage ... Drove in 21 runs ... Recorded a .976 fielding percentage with four outfield assists.

2013 (Sophomore): Played in 62 games with 61 starts in the Eagle outfield ... Hit .184 on the year and posted 11 extra base hits for a .257 slugging percentage ... Hit a home run in the Samford series opener and mashed 10 doubles to rank second on the team ... Reached base at a .259 clip with 17 walks ... Scored 19 runs while driving in 15.

2012 (Freshman): Played in 30 games with 20 starts between right field and designated player ... Earned the designated player role late in the season, starting the final three regular season games and all seven contests in the postseason ... Hit .194 on the year, but drove in 12 runs ... Went 2-for-4 in opener against Furman with four RBIs on two doubles in first game at DP ... Hit three home runs on the year including two in the SoCon Tournament to garner SoCon All-Tournament Team honors ... Slugged .373 and reached base at a .257 clip on the year.

High School: Attended Whitewater High School ... Played for Head Coach Stacey Smith ... Earned first team all-state, all-region and all-county as a senior ... Took second team all-state honors as a sophomore and a junior ... Her Wildcat team finished  state runners-up in 2008 and 2009 ... Member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Kaitlyn Ruth Johnson on April 19th, 1993 in Atlanta, Ga ... Daughter of Greg and Robin Johnson ... Has two older siblings, Ryan and Megan Johnson ...  Majoring in exercise science.
