AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Started 48 games for the Eagles as a junior ... Hit .354 with eight doubles, eight home runs and a team-leading 37 RBI ... Became just the second Georgia Southern softball player to earn First Team Academic All-American honors as awarded by CoSIDA, joining Nina Iduate (2010) ... Reached base in the first 33 games of the season, setting a new school record and eclipsing the previous record of 32 straight games, set by Shanita Black in 2006 ... Drew a team-leading 30 walks for a .481 on-base percentage ... Ranked among the Sun Belt Conference's leaders in slugging percentage (8th, .600) and on-base percentage (4th, .481) ... Launched a grand slam home run in the Eagles' 10-1 Sun Belt win over Georgia State on May 3 ... Had 15 multi-hit games and a team-best 10 games with two or more RBI ... Went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in the Eagles' 10-3 Sun Belt win at UTA on March 22 ... Went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI in a 6-5 win over St. Francis on Feb. 8 ... Went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBI in the Eagles' 6-4 win over Furman on Feb. 26 ... Graduated in May with her bachelor's degree in exercise science, completing her studies in only three years.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Started 52 games for the Eagles as a sophomore ... Hit .260 with eight doubles, seven home runs and 31 RBI ... Delivered a two-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give Georgia Southern a 6-5 Sun Belt win at Troy on March 9 ... Went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI on the next day, March 10, to help the Eagles secure the series over Troy with a 3-2 victory ... Went 3-for-3 with four RBI in the Eagles' 5-4 win over Murray State on Feb. 10 ... Went 5-for-10 with two home runs and six RBI in the Eagles' Sun Belt series sweep of Appalachian State on April 28-29 ... Notched 11 multi-hit games and five games with three or more RBI.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Played in 51 games, starting 48 … Picked up 44 starts at third base and four as the designated player … Batted .246 on the season with 31 hits in 126 at bats … Tallied six doubles and three home runs … Drove in 14 runs and scored 17 times … Drew a team-high 28 walks … Had two sac bunts and one sac fly … Batted .250 in conference play … Had eight multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year letterwinner at Effingham County High School in Springfield, GA, and head coach Matt Huntley … A highly decorated prep player, was named the Wendy’s High School Heisman for her school … Was a three-time AAAAA All-State selection (2013-15) … Was named the Region 3-AAAAA Player of the Year in 2015 after being Co-Player of the Year in 2014 … A three-time all-region player (2013-15) she was also a three-time Savannah Best of Preps All-Area selection and was named the Softball Player of the Year by Savannah Best of Preps in 2014 … In 2013, was named her team’s Best Offensive Player and earned the team’s highest GPA award that season as well … For her career, batted .400 with an .842 slugging percentage as she hit 24 home runs and 85 RBIs … As a senior in 2015, finished the campaign with a .420 batting average and six homers … Guided her team to the round of eight in the 2014 Georgia State Championship Tournament … Helped the Rebels claim the 2012 Region 3-AAAAA crown … Played club ball for Elite Force and head coach Dayle Palmer … Led the Force to a fifth-place finish in the ASA Nationals in 2014 … Outside of softball, was named a Scholar Endorsement Honor Graduate and earned the Hugh O’Brien Leadership Award, University of Georgia Certificate of Merit Award and Presbyterian College Fellow Award … Was also a member of her school’s National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
