JUNIOR (2021): Started one of the six games he appeared in this season... Worked six and 2/3 innings, striking out 10 batters... Worked two no-hit innings against ULM in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament...

SOPHOMORE (2020): Appeared in five games this season… Pitched 6.0 innings allowing one run on five hits… struck out eight batters and opponents were hitting .250 off him… 

FRESHMAN (2019): Appeared in 12 games including one start....Pitched a total of 16.0 innings, recorded 18 strikeouts and had an ERA of 5.63...Had a season-high four strikeouts against Texas State (4/13).  

PREP: Played for Coach Ronny Daniels at Eagles Landing High School… Named First Team All-Region in 2017… Posted a 2.02 ERA in high school… Also played for Hardknox Orioles with coach Thomas Briscoe… Was a seven-time All-Tournament selection, named Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American Honorable Mention.

PERSONAL: Born Jonathan Kaleb Edwards on January 26, 2000 in Stockbridge, Ga. … Son of Afi and Sylvester Edwards… Has an older sister, Jordan… His uncle, John Carlos, won the bronze medal in the 200m at the 1968 Olympics.
