Women's Soccer Earns 2026 United Soccer Coaches Academic Award

Eagles carried a 3.61 GPA for the 2025-26 academic year

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's soccer earned the 2025-26 College Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches, announced by the organization today.

A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized, including Georgia Southern. The Eagles carried a 3.61 GPA for the 2025-26 season. It's the 17th time in program history the Eagles have earned the team academic honor from the organization and the third consecutive season.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
