Nine home dates, trip to Ann Arbor spotlight slate for the Eagles
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's soccer head coach Chris Adams has announced the 2026 Fall schedule for the Eagles. The slate include nine home dates at Bo Pitts Field and also includes a first trip for the program to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on the Wolverines.
The Eagles will tune up for the campaign with a pair of exhibition contests. Wednesday, August 5, Georgia Southern will host Wofford at Bo Pitts Field at 4 p.m., giving Eagle Nation a first look at the 2026 squad on the pitch. The team will then conclude its preseason with a tilt at SEC foe Auburn on Saturday, August 8, at 6 p.m.
The regular season opens up with three home matches out of four, beginning on Wednesday, August 12, with a 7 p.m. contest against ASUN tournament finalist North Florida at Bo Pitts Field. The Eagles will host another ASUN foe, Florida Gulf Coast, on Sunday, August 16 at 1 p.m.
A quick trip down to Jacksonville sees the Eagles face the Dolphins on Thursday, August 20, before returning home to take on CAA regular season champion UNCW at 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 23.
The final four non-conference matches for the Eagles will all be away from home, beginning on Thursday, August 27, with a trip up I-16 to take on Mercer at 7 p.m. Georgia Southern will then continue up to Murray, Ky., for a 1 p.m. match against Murray State on Sunday, August 30, a first meeting with the Racers.
The next week sees the Eagles fly to Michigan to take on the B1G Wolverines on Thursday, September 3, at 7 p.m. in Ann Arbor; another first meeting in program history. The final non-conference match of the Fall has the Eagles facing Toledo in Ohio on Sunday, September 6, at 1 p.m.
Sun Belt Conference action begins for Georgia Southern on Sunday, September 13, with the Eagles hosting Arkansas State at 1 p.m. at Bo Pitts Field. The Eagles then play at Georgia State on Thursday, September 24, at 7 p.m., before returning home to close out September against Coastal Carolina on Sunday the 27th at 1 p.m.
October opens with the Eagles at Marshall on Sunday, October 4, in a 1 p.m. contest. Thursday, October 8, Georgia Southern hosts App State at 5 p.m., then the Eagles travel to South Alabama for a 2 p.m. contest in Mobile on Sunday, October 11. The next Sunday, the 18th, sees the Eagles at Old Dominion in a 1 p.m. contest from Norfolk.
The Eagles host Troy on Thursday, October 22, in a 5 p.m. contest at Bo Pitts Field before traveling to Southern Miss for a 2 p.m. contest on Sunday, October 25, at 2 p.m. The final game of the regular season will be a showdown with James Madison on Sunday, November 1, at 1 p.m. at Bo Pitts Field.
The 2026 Sun Belt Conference Tournament will take place from November 9-14, once again at Foley Field in Foley, Ala.
