Four Eagles Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern women's track and field team earned recognition for its excellence in the classroom as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Track & Field All-Academic teams and individuals.
The Eagles were named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team after posting a 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
In addition to the team honor, four Georgia Southern student-athletes earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual recognition: Shatalya Dorsett, Kennedy Hood, Myzhane Solomon and NaJ Watson.
The Eagles' recognition continues a strong tradition of success in both competition and academics, highlighting the dedication and hard work of Georgia Southern's student-athletes in the classroom and on the track.
