Women's Basketball Celebrates Sun Belt Title With Net Cutting Ceremony Monday

Event is at 6PM and is free and open to the public at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center
STATESBORO — Fans, students, alumni and the campus community are invited to celebrate the regular season conference championship with the Georgia Southern Women's Basketball team at a special Net Cutting Ceremony on Monday, March 2 at The Hill.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. The event will feature the coaches and student-athletes, music, photo opportunities, and the official net cutting to commemorate the Eagles' championship season.
This celebration is free and open to the public. Fans are encouraged to wear blue and white, arrive early and help honor the first conference championship for Georgia Southern Women's Basketball in the last 25 years.

Also, the Eagles will be playing in the 2026 Sun Belt Conference tournament on Sunday, March 8, at 12:30 PM against an opponent to be determined.
