Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

Eagles will play 14 non-conference games, including a trip to the University of Georgia on Dec. 28
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's basketball has announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign, which consists of 14 contests - eight of which will be at home.
As previously announced, the Eagles will open up the 2026-27 campaign at Bowling Green on Monday, November 2, as a part of the MAC/SBC Challenge. The Eagles will then travel to Macon to take on Mercer on Thursday, November 5.
The first home game of 2026-27 will be on Monday, November 9, against Savannah State at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center, starting a four-game homestand for the Eagles. A Saturday, November 14 contest against Wofford follows, with the Eagles also taking on Coastal Georgia on Tuesday, November 17, and Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, November 20.
The week of Thanksgiving will see the Eagles away from home for three contests. Georgia Southern will participate in a tournament hosted by Cleveland State on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24 and 25. The Eagles take on host Cleveland State on the 24th and Western Michigan on the 25th. The week wraps up with a Sunday, November 29, contest at Furman.
December begins with three straight games at home as the Eagles welcome in Charleston Southern on Monday, December 7, for its annual Kids Field Trip Day contest. Georgia Southern then hosts FIU on Saturday, December 12 and the College of Charleston on Tuesdya, December 15.
The highlight of the non-conference slate comes after Christmas as the Eagles travel to Athens to take on the University of Georgia on Monday, December 28. The final non-conference game will be on Saturday, February 6, as the second leg of the MAC/SBC Challenge will see the Eagles travel to a MAC opponent to be determined.
