Quotables
Head coach Hana Haden on the victory over the Red Wolves
"I'm just really proud of our team. That's a tough and gritty win to get against a really good team in our conference. Multiple people played all 40 minutes and several others played over 30 minutes, and when you're playing a team like Arkansas State that constantly cycles new people in and sends bodies at you, I thought we battled, and I couldn't be more proud of this group."
On the 11-0 start to the game
"Against a team like them, you're going to need all the cushion you can get because of the way that they play and how they can turn you over and shoot threes. So they can score in a hurry. We knew no lead was safe, so it's big any time you can get out ahead knowing how long that game's going to be and that they're going to press the entire time."

Georgia Southern continues its four-game homestand on Saturday, hosting Coastal Carolina for a 1 p.m. Sun Belt Conference contest against the Chanticleers from The Hill.
