Heather Macy Press Conference Set For April 28

New head women's basketball coach will meet the media and the Statesboro community at 3:30 p.m.
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern will hold an introductory press conference on Tuesday, April 28, at 3:30 p.m. to welcome new head women's basketball coach Heather Macy to the campus and Statesboro community. The press conference will be open to the public.
The event will be at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center. Director of Athletics Chris Davis and Coach Macy will speak at 3:30 p.m., and after an interview session with the local media, Coach Macy will meet with fans on the court.
Macy was announced as the 10th head coach in Georgia Southern women's basketball history on April 3 after an outstanding season at Nova Southeastern University, leading the Sharks to a Sunshine State Conference tournament championship and an NCAA Division II championships appearance.
