Quotables
Head coach Hana Haden on the defensive effort by the Eagles, holding Coastal Carolina to 50 points
"It was a huge effort from our team. We were coming off of a double overtime loss and they were coming off of an overtime loss, and those type of games really take a lot out of your team. So we had two teams that were probably pretty tired mentally and physically, so I'm just really proud of the way that we locked in defensively, especially down the stretch with the stops that we got."
On the decisive 8-0 run in the fourth quarter
"We showed some poise and composure. It had gotten a little bit frazzled, because they do a really good job with their pressure, so I thought towards the end of the game we showed the poise and composure that we needed to make those plays, that maybe we didn't make in the game against ODU, to close out the game."
