STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics remains committed to delivering a first-class experience for Eagle Nation. We've listened to fan feedback and spent the offseason focusing on new ways to enhance the game day experience at Allen E. Paulson Stadium/Evans Family Field. Several exciting improvements have been made, and here are just a few you can look forward to this season:

2025 Fan Guide
• All fans are encouraged to review the updated fan guide for 2025. The guide contains much of the information detailed below, including traffic flow, bus routes and parking. Click here to view the Fan Guide. 

The Hangout at Paulson
• New this season, fans can enjoy The Hangout at Paulson — a vibrant gameday destination inside the stadium featuring entertainment for all ages. From a mobile video game trailer to face painting, balloon art, cornhole, and ax-throwing there's something for everyone. Local restaurant partner, Azul, serving up delicious Tex-Mex fare will be available for purchase as well. For the adults, a draft beer trailer will be serving $4 drafts during Happy Hour, from gates opening (90 minutes before kickoff) until kickoff, making The Hangout the perfect pregame spot to gather with friends and family.

Limited Edition "Freedom" Stadium Mugs
• Fans can now take home a piece of game day with our new Georgia Southern Limited Edition "Freedom" stadium mugs, available at concessions for $22.49. Inspired by our iconic live bald eagle mascot, Freedom, each mug features a unique custom design, and $2.00 from every purchase supports the Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education & The Lamar Q Ball Jr. Raptor Center and the Eagle Nation Fund. Mugs can be refilled at concession stands for just $1.99 each time, with refills available at all Georgia Southern sporting events during the 2025–26 season if you bring the cup back to the event. Plus, fans in The Hill taking in our women's and men's basketball games can enjoy free refills, making these mugs both a collectible and a great way to stay refreshed all season.

Road Closure on Lanier Drive
• Southbound Lanier Drive will be closed on gameday starting 4 hours before kickoff between Chandler Road and Robin Hood Trail and re-open one hour after the game. Additionally, there will be no access to Robin Hood Trail from southbound Lanier Drive, and any traffic from Robin Hood Trail must turn right on Lanier Drive. Update to Parking Flow Traffic
• With the closure of Lanier Drive as stated above, all patrons parking in the Gold Lot, Peach Lot, Morris Bank Blue Lot, Green Lot, and Teal Lot should enter from Lanier Drive off Veterans Memorial Parkway. In the same way, all vehicles will be directed to turn right onto Lanier Drive towards Veterans Memorial Parkway to exit. Additionally, vehicles parked in Lot 29 may exit onto Knight Drive. 

Concessions Additions
• Georgia Southern fans have even more tasty options this season at concessions. New menu items include:

• Garlic Texas Toast chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese, pickles and our signature zesty Gus sauce. Available at Stand 7.
• Fresh popcorn is back at Paulson. Enjoy fresh popcorn in a souvenir Georgia Southern bucket. Available at Stands 1, 2, 7 and 8.
• Stoners Pizza with whole pies and wings is now available at stands 4 and 5.
• Chili Cheese dogs are on deck at Stand 1.
• A state-of-the-art official Georgia Southern Bud Light Walk-Thru Brew has been added to the south concourse (home side) so you can get a quick beverage whenever needed (please drink responsibly).

Athletics Mobile App Upgraded to Next Gen
• Georgia Southern Athletics is taking your game day experience to the next level with our upgraded mobile app. The next-gen app offers faster performance, enhanced navigation and new features designed to keep fans connected, informed and engaged throughout the season. From digital ticketing and live stats to exclusive content and in-app promotions, the next-gen app ensures you'll never miss a moment at Paulson Stadium. Eagles Win, You Win by Azul
• When the Eagles win, head to Azul for delicious Tex-Mex cuisine and get 15% off your order! Located at 408 S Main Street in Statesboro, this offer only lasts up to 48 hours after game day!

Eagle Victory Plan QR Codes
• QR Codes have been placed around the stadium to give fans the option to give to the Eagle Victory Plan, which includes - but isn't limited to - the Eagle Nation Fund to help support our student-athletes. 

Southern Exchange Location Changes
• Southern Exchange, the exclusive merchandiser of Georgia Southern Athletics, has added a pop-up shop at Bishop Field House focused on game-day essentials, apparel, headwear and more. The SXC Tailgate shop has also slid over next to Gate 12, providing more gear for your game day needs! Please continue to visit the two in-venue stores on both sides of the concourse.

An Additional Shuttle Bus Route Has Been Added
• The Green Route will shuttle fans from the RAC to Paulson Stadium and back. The Blue Route will continue to go from Russell Union to Paulson, and the Gold Route from the corner of Forest Drive and Plant Drive at the Performing Arts Center. 

Eagle Alerts
• Use the QR code below to subscribe to EAGLE ALERT emergency notifications from Georgia Southern University during a home football game. You will only receive EAGLE ALERT notifications if a campus emergency occurs during a home football game. To unsubscribe, text "Leave Football" to 31002.


GATA Game Day Navigator
• Perched atop a lifeguard-style chair, the GATA Game Day Navigator, will serve as a high-visibility help station for Eagle fans. Easy to spot and ready to assist, the navigator can help answer your questions about game day. You'll find the navigator located outside the stadium near gate 10. 

Signage updates
• Directional signage has been updated throughout the stadium to allow for easy navigation. Large stadium maps are now posted on each side of the stadium above the water fountains as a "go-to" point of reference. 

New Landscaping and Wind Screens
• Fans entering Paulson Stadium will notice the new landscaping along the stadium fences, and those on the visitor side will see new windscreens for the club level sections.

In-Game Entertainment
• New content is in store throughout the game featuring new music, videoboard graphics, fan cams, light shows and on-field recognitions and contests. Experience the full Power of Paulson at every game!

New Freedom Statue … And Please Pardon Our Progress
• A statue of Georgia Southern's treasured live mascot, Freedom, who passed away in March, will be unveiled in the Scoggins Plaza at the Bishop Field House end on Friday night at 5 p.m. All of Eagle Nation is welcome to attend. You'll also notice on the north-side next to the Erk Russell statue, an area with an exciting project that will be coming soon. We ask that you pardon our progress as we continue to GATA! 

Upgrade to My First Game
• Whether it's your first time at Paulson Stadium or a special moment for a loved one, My First Game is a can't-miss stop inside the stadium. Guests will receive a commemorative button, certificate and a photo opportunity with a brand-new, refreshed background. After the game, fans will even receive an email with their photo to relive the memory again and again.

Junior Eagle Club Renewals and New Memberships
• The Junior Eagle Club (JEC) is now accepting renewals and new memberships for the 2025-26 year. The JEC offers kids in 8th grade or lower multiple benefits, including discounted tickets, complimentary general admission, and exclusive JEC merchandise and opportunities.
