STATESBORO — Georgia Southern fans can now take home a piece of game day with the launch of the university's new Limited Edition "Freedom" stadium mugs, available at concessions for a one-time price of $22.49.
Inspired by the university's beloved bald eagle mascot, Freedom, each mug features a custom design and doubles as a keepsake. In addition, $2 from every purchase will benefit the Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education & The Lamar Q Ball Jr. Raptor Center, as well as the Eagle Nation Fund.
Fans who purchase the mug can enjoy discounted refills for just $1.99 at concession stands throughout the 2025–26 athletic season by bringing the cup back to any Georgia Southern sporting event that features Aramark concessions stands. In an added benefit, supporters coming to games at The Hill during women's and men's basketball season will receive free refills, making the mugs both a collectible and a convenient way to stay refreshed.
"These mugs are a great way for Eagle Nation to show their pride, support the Wildlife Center and enjoy a unique fan experience all season long," said Georgia Southern Director of Athletics
Chris Davis.
The Limited Edition "Freedom" mugs will be sold following the unveiling of the Freedom statue on Friday evening and at concession stands inside all Georgia Southern athletic venues beginning at Saturday's football game against Jax State.
