Quotables
Head coach Hana Haden on facing the No. 5-ranked Tigers
"Obviously we knew the test that we had coming into today. We knew it was going to be a huge challenge to defend them and to rebound. Obviously they have a huge size advantage on us, and we knew it was going to be tough to get out and defend them in transition. All those things kinda came to fruition. We put up 70 points and I thought we were really aggressive at times, so I'm proud of the way we scored the ball. We think three-point shooting is going to be a part of our identify this year and we did make 10 threes."
Next Up
Georgia Southern will have an eight-day break before next traveling to Missouri State for a 7:30 p.m. ET contest against the Bears in a homecoming game for Coach Haden, who is a Springfield, Mo., native.
