Eagle Men’s Basketball Game Moved to Thursday

Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina contest postponed due to winter storm

STATESBORO - Due to the effects of Winter Storm Enzo on Statesboro and Bulloch County, Georgia Southern's men's basketball game against Coastal Carolina has been postponed and will be played on Thursday at 1 p.m. inside the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center.

The Sun Belt Conference game was originally scheduled for Wednesday night in Statesboro. Any tickets purchased for the originally scheduled date will be honored on Thursday. The Athletics Ticket Office will reopen Thursday morning and will be available to answer any questions patrons may have.

Patrons choosing to attend the game should do so at their own risk, understanding that icy conditions may remain in areas around the region, including possibly on sidewalks and in parking lots.

The Georgia Southern Department of Athletics will continue to monitor conditions with campus and local officials. Any additional updates will be posted on GSEagles.com and the Georgia Southern Athletics social media accounts (@GSAthletics).
