
Men's Basketball Signees Honored by Atlanta Tipoff Club

ATLANTA, Ga. – Two Georgia Southern men's basketball signees were honored by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on Tuesday afternoon, as Jayden Crawford and Hayden Clay earned spots on the Jackie Bradford All-Metro Teams.
Crawford, a combo guard from Douglasville, Georgia, was honored as a third-team recipient for the Jackie Bradford All-Metro Teams, after helping guide Alexander High School to a 30-2 overall record and defeated Woodward Academy, 81-67, in the state championship earlier this month. The Douglasville native, capped off his senior season with the Cougars averaging 12.8 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists, and 3.2 steals in 32 appearances. He tallied 410 points, grabbed 114 rebounds, dished 97 assists, and swiped 101 steals for the Cougars.
Clay, a forward from Atlanta, Georgia, was honored as an honorable mention for the Jackie Bradford All-Metro Teams, after helping guide Pace Academy to a 24-8 record and a state finals appearance this season. The Atlanta, Georgia, native appeared in 30 games during his senior season, posting 14.5 points per game, 8.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.4 blocks per contest. Clay tallied 434 points on 61 percent shooting, while grabbing 241 rebounds, and denying 42 shots.
Georgia Southern men's basketball completed the 2025-26 season with a historic run through the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, posting a final record of 21-16, the first 20-plus win season since 2019-20.
