PREVIEW: Karlee Wells to Compete in NCAA Zone B Diving Championships This Week

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern sophomore diver Karlee Wells is slated to compete in the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships this week, beginning on Sunday, March 10 from the campus of the University of Georgia. Action will begin with the women's one meter events on Sunday afternoon.
Wells earned her spot in the qualifying round in the one meter dive during the Emory Invitational back in November 2023, where she ended the day with a score of 297.68. She also earned a spot in the three meter diving portion of the event when she set a new school record of 319.05 in the 3M a few weeks after the Emory Invitational.
Last year, Wells qualified for zone diving, making this the second-consecutive season she has qualified. Prior to Wells, the Eagles had not had a qualifier since the trio of Katie Knight, Sara Rogers, and Gretchen Mossburg qualified back in 2018.
