STATESBORO – Georgia Southern swim and dive's McKinlee Taulbee and Morgan Ruebusch earned ASUN weekly honors following their performances against SCAD and Converse, helping lead the Eagles to a dominant team victory.
Taulbee is nominated for ASUN Diver of the Week after sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. She earned first place on the 1-meter board with a score of 255.38 before claiming the 3-meter title with a score of 268.43.
Taulbee contributed 18 points to Georgia Southern's overall team effort, delivering a strong performance across both diving events.
Ruebusch is nominated for ASUN Swimmer of the Week after earning gold in all four events in which she competed. Individually, she won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.53 and the 100-yard butterfly in 58.10.
She also contributed to first-place finishes with the Eagles' A teams in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Both athletes played key roles in Georgia Southern's successful outing, with Taulbee dominating the diving boards and Ruebusch contributing across individual and relay events.
