STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football program has announced its January enrollees which include 16 transfers. GSEagles.com had a chance to sit down with each of the transfers for a quick Q&A so all of Eagle Nation can get to know their new Eagles. Up next is Dorrian Smith, from Northeast Mississippi CC.

What attracted you to Georgia Southern when you were making a decision to transfer?
Everybody around here was like family and treat everyone the same. I'm big on family so that played a big part in my decision.
What do you like to do when you're away from football?
I play the game and I like to call and check in with all my friends back home.
What's your pregame ritual?
I listen to music. Mary Mary's "Go Get It" puts me in my mood.
What do you prefer - a book, a movie or a video game?
If I'm by myself, I prefer a movie. If my friends call me, I'll get on a video game.
What's the last show you binge-watched?
Fool Me Once on Netflix
If you weren't a football player, what sport would you go to college to play?
Basketball
After football is over, what is your current career aspirations?
I just want to stay in sports in some type of way.
What's something most people don't know about you?
People probably don't know that I was good at baseball.
Finally, what aspect of gameday in Paulson Stadium are you looking forward to experiencing on Aug. 31 against Boise State?
Coming out onto the field and seeing the fans in a great environment. I haven't felt that yet.
