Track and Field Competes at Black and Gold Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. – Georgia Southern track and field opened its outdoor campaign competing at the Black and Golf Invitational hosted by UCF on Friday and Saturday at the UCF Soccer Complex.
Imani Moore opened the meet securing a sixth-place finish in the long jump leaping 5.95m.
Isabel Ptacek posted a lifetime best in the 1500m clocking in at 4:47.99. The mark is ninth all-time in program history. Ptacek also ran a lifetime best in the 800m with a time of 2:17.03.
Catherine Hall ran a 18:41.42 in the women's 5K for a new personal best and seventh fastest time in program history.
Nia Hence opened the 100m winning her heat with a personal best time of 12.01.
Kennadi Reed finished ninth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.21 followed by Sucar Tanelus who finished 11th with a time of 1:03.64.
NaJ Watson finished inside the top ten in the 200m dash clocking in at 23.69. Na'ilah Moore finished tenth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.99m.
