GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Georgia Southern swimming and diving team fell by a final score of 94-200 to the East Carolina Pirates on Saturday, January 6.
The Eagles were able to come away with victories in both the 400 Yard IM and the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Zuri Clavo finished with a final time of 4:40.14 in the 400 Yard IM, while the combined efforts of
Chiara Alberti,
Jamison Tiller,
Carsyn Cosman, and
Emma Sutton finished with a final time of 3:42.75.
In diving action,
Karlee Wells finished the three meter dive in third place with a final score of 290.55, finishing as the highest-placed Eagle in the event. In the one meter dive, Wells finished in second place with a final score of 234.83.
Also in the one meter dive,
Abby Ounsworth,
Anya Weber,
McKinlee Taulbee, and
Megan Phifer came in third, fourth, fifth, and sixth places respectively, beating out all but one Pirate.
