New Orleans, La. --- At now the conclusion of the 2024-2025 swim and dive season, 11 Eagles were tabbed to the All-Conference Third Team, as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon (March 26th).
The Third-Team members include
Chiara Alberti (So. -Â Bassano del Grappo, Italy),
Logan Belanger (Sr. - Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario),
Scout Chapin (Fr. - Chattanooga, Ten.),
Carsyn Cosman (Jr. - St. Louis, Mo.),
Zuri Clavo (Sr. - Madrid, Spain), Alysa Ifill (Fr. - Killeen, Tex.),
Alex Pope (Fr. - St. Petersburg, Fla.),
Jamison Tiller (So. - Sugar Hill, Ga),
Karlee Wells (Jr. - Winder, Ga.),
Madlen Wendland (Jr. - Hannover, Germany), and
Abby Wenham (Sr. - Lawrenceville, Ga.).
These swimmers would post multiple school records and top-five program times over the course of the season, including
Karlee Wells' school records in both the 1 and 3-Meter dive,
Zuri Clavo's second-fastest 1650 Free time in school history at 17:05.79, and
Chiara Alberti's second-best 100 Free time of 50.30 in Georgia Southern history. The Eagles would take home third at the Sun Belt Championships in Orlando just a few short weeks ago, with the postseason also being kind to the Eagles. Multiple swimmers would go on to compete at the CSCAA National Invitational, while
Karlee Wells would place top-15 in both diving events at the Zone B Championships.
