What attracted you to Georgia Southern when you were making a decision to transfer?

Coach Helton and Coach Ellis. Coach Helton was recruiting me when he was at USC out of high school, so that was an easy transition. It was like family at USC, I was committed for a time, but went to Arizona State.

What do you like to do when you're away from football?
I like to play video games with my brothers, mainly Fortnite, but I can play any other game. I've got two younger brothers and love to play video games with them.

What's your pregame ritual?
Usually every home game or away game, I go to the corner of the end zone and pray, pray to God and talk to my dad. It is like a nice little peaceful moment for me and him where we are at peace.

What do you prefer - a book, a movie or a video game?
Movie and video game. I am a big move guy. I love Harry Potter and Fast and Furious.

What's the last show you binge-watched?
I don't like shows.

If you weren't a football player, what sport would you go to college to play?
Most likely baseball. My mom played softball until high school and she was really good. I got the chance to see her at a very young age, she was actually really good.

After football is over, what are your current career aspirations?
Obviously, the goal is to get to the NFL, but you know life happens. I want to be a coach at Georgia Southern or go back to California and just start off there at my high school.

What's something most people don't know about you?
I am a big Harry Potter fan.

Finally, what aspect of gameday in Paulson Stadium are you looking forward to experiencing on Aug. 31 against Boise State?
The fans, I'm a big fan guy. Even if it's home or away, I feed off the energy of the fans. I can't wait to see the crowd, I'm just so excited.

Georgia Southern opens its 2024 season at home on Saturday, Aug. 31 against defending Mountain West champion Boise State as part of an exciting six-game home schedule at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. Ticket renewals are underway and information can be found at GSEagles.com/PowerOfPaulson.
