Baseball Walk-On Meeting Set for August 23

Interested students must be at the meeting to try out
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern baseball head coach Rodney Hennon has announced that a walk-on tryout meeting has been set for Wednesday, August 23, at J.I. Clements Stadium. Current full-time Georgia Southern students who want to attend the walk-on tryout the baseball team are required to attend this meeting.
The meeting will take place on the concourse of J.I. Clements Stadium at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 23. Students must be present at this meeting in order to participate in the actual tryout. The tryout will take place at J.I. Clements Stadium on Sept. 6, with check-in beginning at 5 p.m.
At the tryout, students will be required to bring all of their baseball equipment (gloves, bat, hat, shoes, cleats, baseball pants, etc.) and must provide a current physical (within the last 12 months). A copy of their insurance card and a sickle cell form will be required, as well as four forms attached to the bottom of this release.
