Georgia Southern Swim and Dive Earns CSCAA Scholar All-American Team Honors

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving team earned CSCAA Scholar All-American Team honors after earning a team GPA of 3.63 for the Spring 2023 semester.
"Since its inception, Georgia Southern University continues to provide a world-class learning environment extending far beyond the boundaries of the classroom," said head coach Allyson Sweeney. "Knowing this, the women of Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving have sought to fully embody their academic excellence. By being named one of the spring's Scholar All-America teams by the CSCAA, our program has laid the foundation for high achievement in the upcoming academic year & season."
The CSCAA selected 714 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester, with 284 of those squads representing Division I from the NCAA. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2023 grade point averages and represent 17,445 student-athletes.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
