STATESBORO – Georgia Southern junior and senior student-athletes will participate in Networking Night Monday, Feb. 20, at the Russell Union Ballroom as part of the school's APEX (Athletes Preparing for Employment Experiences) program.
The event begins at 7 p.m., will feature a panel discussion, dinner and networking with several business. It is in partnership with the Georgia Southern Office of Career and Professional Development.

The APEX program is designed to help prepare Georgia Southern student-athletes for the ultimate challenge after their playing careers- life. Led by Senior Associate Athletics Director Student-Athlete Development

Tracy Ham, the APEX program fosters the holistic growth of all Georgia Southern student-athletes based on four pillars: life skills, leadership development, career growth and community engagement. The vision statement of the program is to "develop confident and independent leaders to win in their careers, communities and households."
