STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern swimmers and divers will both be in action this weekend as swim hosts its first meet of the season, inviting Garnder-Webb and SCAD-Savannah into Statesboro on Saturday, Oct. 7, with the start of the meet scheduled for noon. Meanwhile, the diving team with head west to Moultrie, Ga., to take part in the Moultrie College Invitational from Friday, Oct. 6 to Sunday, Oct. 8.
Saturday's dual meet for swim will see the Eagles take on the Runnin' Bulldogs on GWU and the Bees of SCAD-Savannah compete in 15 various events through the day. GWU and SCAD-Savannah's men's teams will also be participating in their own competitions. The events include:

- 200 Free
- 100 Back
- 100 Breast
- 200 Fly
- 50 Free*
- 100 Free
- 200 Back
- 200 Breast
- 500 Free
- 100 Fly*
- 200 IM
- 400 Free Relay

Meanwhile, the divers will head to Moultrie to take part in the annual Moultrie College Invitational. The Eagles will participate in a field that also contains Birmingham Southern and West Florida. The event will span te entire weekend. Events for the weekend include the one meter event on Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by the three meter event on Sunday at 9 a.m.
Results from Saturday's dual meet will be posted on Saturday night, while results from the MCI will be posted at the conclusion of the event on Sunday.
