Sun Belt Conference Announces Championship Bracket

Georgia Southern earns the #2 seed
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Sun Belt Conference announced the Guardian Credit Union Sun Belt Baseball Championship presented by Troy University bracket Saturday night.
Georgia Southern locked down the #2 seed in the tournament thanks to a sweep of UT-Arlington over the weekend. Because of this, the Eagles will not know their opponent until the conclusion of the No. 10 seed ULM/No. 7 seed Georgia State and No. 9 seed App State/No. 8 seed Little Rock games. Since the Eagles are the #2 seed, they will draw the highest remaining seed of those opponents, while #1 Texas State will draw the lowest remaining seed.
The Eagles will play their first game of the Sun Belt Baseball Championship on Wednesday, May 25, at 1:30 p.m. ET. Should the Eagles win their opening game, they will move on to face the winner of #6 seed Troy and #3 seed Coastal Carolina on Thursday, May 26, at 5 p.m. ET. Since the tournament is double elimination, the Eagles will get a second chance if they fall in a game before the championship game. The championship game will be a single-elimination, winner-take-all game.
