
Baseball to Play Doubleheader on Friday

Threat of inclement weather moves Saturday’s game to Friday
STATESBORO – Due to the threat of inclement weather in the Statesboro area on Saturday, the Georgia Southern baseball team has moved its Saturday, May 21, game to Friday, May 20, creating a doubleheader to finish the season. Game one on Friday will take place at 2 p.m., and game two will take place at 6:30 p.m.
The senior day recognition will commence between the two games, and other promotions have been adjusted accordingly. Friday's promotions will take place during the 2 p.m. game on Friday, and Saturday's promotions will take place during the 6:30 p.m. game on Friday.
Fans who purchased tickets to Friday's original game will be able to use their ticket to get into the 2 p.m. game, and fans who purchased tickets for Saturday's game will be able to get into the 6:30 p.m. game. Fans who have a ticket for one game and show up for the other can receive a complimentary standing-room only ticket. Tickets are still on sale for the UT-Arlington series at gseagles.com/tickets
