Quotables from Coach Chad Willis
"It was a tough result today; we really struggled settling into a rhythm offensively this weekend. Today, our mentality on the defensive side of the ball was much better, but we need to find balance on both sides, especially when you're playing solid teams. There were some good stretches we'll look at and build off of heading down the stretch these next two weekends."
Next up
The Eagles travel to Boone to take on Appalachian State in two contests next weekend. Friday's match starts at 6 p.m., Saturday's tilt begins at 1 p.m. and both will air live on ESPN+.
